What is Massage Therapy?

Massage therapy is the manipulation and assessment of the soft tissues and joints of the body (muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissue) to gain a therapeutic response.

Massage Therapy is effective in the treatment of:

- Headaches and migraines
- Back and neck pain
- Repetitive strain injury (i.e. Tendonitis, Carpal Tunnel)
- Sprains and strains
- Fibromyalgia
- Pregnancy and labour discomfort
- Inflammatory conditions (i.e. Arthritis)
- Scoliosis
- Stress Management
- Many other conditions

Massage Therapists are licensed by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) under the Regulated Health Professions Act of Ontario (RHPA).
